Vandel is an Alternative / Post Punk band from the Netherlands formed in 2008 by three brothers with a passion for the darker side of music. With a common interest in 80's New Wave / Post Punk such as The Cure, The Sound and Joy Division they decided to move the band into that direction.

With their EP “A Covering Veil” they show impressively, that it is still possible, to follow their roots, but create something own. Wavey guitars, a driving bass, a solid drum machine and a bariton voice are the basis of their music. “A Covering Veil” offers melancholic and catchy soundscapes as well as dancey rhythms.
